Stone Canyon Lot 4742

The defining feature of the home is the rock formation in the middle of the site. The house was designed around preserving the rocks and celebrating it as a unique feature on the lot.  The house was placed so that the rock formation enters into the covered patio and stops right in front of the dining room window and fixed glass next to the sliding glass doors of the great room, to bring the outdoors into the residence.  The home is also designed so that the house on the adjacent is not visible from the primary living spaces of the house, while framing the primary view to the east.
